Treasurer

The Treasurer’s responsibilities include:

  1. attending committee meetings.

  2. ensuring that all money due to the club is collected and deposited in the club’s authorised financial account weekly or more often as the need arises.

  3. holding all financial assets of the club in an authorised account(s) in the name of the North Turramurra Football Club Incorporated with financial institutions that are licenced by the Reserve Bank of Australia and as approved by the committee or a general meeting from time to time.

  4. ensuring that all payments authorised by the club are made.

  5. ensuring that correct records and accounts are kept showing the financial affairs of the club including full details of all receipts and payments connected with the activities of the club.

  6. reconciling club accounts against monthly bank statements.

  7. preparing and presenting reports on the financial status of the club to each quarterly meeting of the committee, or as needed.

  8.  providing a cash float for fundraising events, 


Effort required (approx hours per week): Pre-season - 1-2 hours. During season - 2-3 hours
