Selection Trials & Registration
Selection for Phoenix FC is trial-based. Successful players will represent Phoenix FC for the winter season while remaining connected to their preferred home club.
When: Trials are held annually in November.
Who: Open to motivated players across the Ku-ring-gai area.
Coaching: Conducted by Vision Football to ensure fair and professional assessment.
Note: Team entry is subject to final registration numbers. Successful players will register via North Turramurra or Gordon FC.

Junior Development League (JDL) at Phoenix FC
Phoenix FC offers elite pathways for ambitious players through our JDL and GJDL programs. These leagues serve as a direct pipeline to Super League, Diamond League (U12+), and Northern Tigers representative football.

JDL (Mixed): Under 8 – Under 11
GJDL (Girls Only): Under 10 – Under 11
Commitment & Expectations
Designed for players pursuing the highest levels of community football, this program requires a greater commitment than standard teams:
Professional Coaching: Led by our partners, Vision Football.
Training: Twice weekly sessions plus pre-season matches.
Schedule: Pre-season begins in February.
Standards: High expectations for attendance, attitude, and performance.
Trials & Registration
Trials: Held in November.
Selection: Offers are extended to successful players shortly after the final trial.
Costs: JDL involves additional fees to cover professional coaching and resources. Detailed cost breakdowns are provided directly to parents upon selection.
Girls Diamond League (Division 1)
The Diamond League represents the pinnacle of female youth football in the Northern Suburbs. Aimed at players from U12 through to U18, the league is designed to provide a high-quality, competitive environment that fosters growth and technical excellence.
Through our partnership with Gordon FC under the Phoenix FC brand, we are proud to offer a clear development pathway. Our program directly underpins representative opportunities with the Northern Tigers, ensuring our players have a direct line to elite-level football.
