Winter Season Fees
We strive to keep fees affordable for our members each season but on occasion we may have to adjust our season fees to cover increases in governing body, facilities and qualified coaching costs (which the club subsidizes).
Our club partners with VISION FOOTBALL who provide ‘weekly’ qualified coaching programs for each of our MiniRoos teams (U6 to U12). Note that any Development League fees are not displayed below as they are communicated directly to the parents of players are offered a position with Ku-ring-gai Phoenix.

Active Kids Voucher
If you are registering someone of school age and you receive the Family Tax Benefit, you may be eligible to use an Active Kids Voucher to reduce the fee by $50. Apply for a voucher here. Enter the voucher number when prompted during the online registration process.
If you need financial assistance, please email our Registrar. We have a process in place for helping players who need it, and we will do whatever we can to ensure every player who wishes to play football can do so.
Family Discount (3+ players)
NTFC encourages whole family participation in football. As an incentive the club provides a 10% discount on the season fees for both Junior and Senior players in a family. Discounts are available for direct family members (of any age) living at the same address.
Please note:
The 10% discount is applied to the total season fee paid by the family, which are then rounded up to the nearest $5.00.
The discount is applied and this amount is rounded down to the nearest $5.00.
The Play Football registration system does not allow for automatic application of a family discount.
Families wanting to claim the discount may do so via email to the club Registrar at ntfcregistrar@gmail.com and providing player names/age groups.
The discount amount will be reimbursed after the completion of Round 5.
Player Rebates (Refereeing/Coaching)
In addition to the Family Discount, certain activities that support the club and help fellow members, attract some rebates on fees including:
New referees qualifying will have their NSFRA fee reimbursed upon application to the Club Secretary at NTFCclubsecretary@gmail.com;
Referees who nominate themselves as club competition age referees must provide evidence of officiating at least 3 or more games during the current season (screenshot from Dribl) to be entitled to claim their NSRFA fee.
Senior Men’s and Women’s players who volunteer to coach a Youth Competition team can claim a FULL rebate of their registration fee by the end of the season.
The following conditions apply:
Rebates are provided at the end of the season to players who have paid in full prior to the first round;
Coaching rebates do not apply to players whose children are in the team coached;
A maximum fee rebate applies per player equivalent to the total amount paid by the player at time of registration, e.g. if an All-Age player pays $480 to register; coaches a Junior team and qualifies as a referee during the winter season, they will be reimbursed a payment of $480 from NTFC at the end of the season.
Unpaid Fees
Any player who has not paid their fees at the official commencement of the season will be unable to take the field. Please note fees are due at time of registration, you are not considered registered until payment is received and your registration approved via our Registrar. Any player who plays unregistered will result in a team forfeit or loss of points (competition teams only).
Refunds (please read carefully)
Please note that a FULL refund is ONLY available on registration fees (less % credit card fee) prior to Round One of the season. After Round One the club will allow a 50% refund of the registration fee paid but there will be NO refund after Round Four as at this time the Club is charged per-player fees by the NSFA and governing bodies.
Where this player is part of a family who have received a family discount, the refund shall be limited to the difference between the total amount paid and the revised amount due for any family members who remain registered.
Individual requests for exceptions to this policy may be presented to the Registrar with supporting argument documentation. However, it remains the discretion of the Registrar as to whether that exception is upheld and what the appropriate refund might be. We do reserve the right to deny any registration fee refund requests made after teams have been formed and/or the season has commenced.
All refund requests must be emailed to the Registrar at ntfcregistrar@gmail.com for assessment.
To receive a refund, you must include your bank account details (i.e. bank name, account name/s, BSB and account numbers) for a refund via Electronic Funds Transfer. The club does not have a facility to refund to a credit card used for registration payment. Please be patient whilst awaiting a refund, as these are usually processed in batches.
