Secretary (VACANT)

The Secretary’s responsibilities include:

  1. attending committee meetings.

  2. administering the affairs of the club as directed by the committee or members as the rules direct.

  3. signing all outgoing correspondence and receiving all incoming correspondence and generally advance details of all written matters dealt with by the committee and report on any other matters.

  4. recording all minutes of proceedings and maintaining a record of names of persons in attendance at committee meetings and general meetings held.

  5. preparing the agenda for each meeting of the club.

  6. maintaining an appropriate and secure location to house the club’s business records

  7. preparing an annual report for presentation at the annual general meeting.

  8. undertaking other duties as may come within the province of Secretary.

  9. maintaining a club email address list of members.

  10. maintaining records of committee members’ details.

  11. arranging an appropriate meeting location for committee meetings and for any other meetings, as required by the club. 

  12. managing the printing and distribution of minutes to all current members and other persons as directed by the committee.


Effort required (approx hours per week):  Pre-season - Ad hoc <1 hr some weeks. During season 1-2hrs
