GIRLS ONLY MINIROOS (G6 – G11)

At North Turramurra FC, we are incredibly proud that 40% of our membership is female. This strong community allows us to offer a dedicated, girls-only pathway for players aged 4 to 11 through the Girls MiniRoos program.

Our Philosophy: Fun & Friendship First

Our goal is simple: to foster a love for football through fun, skill-building, and playing alongside friends. You will always find our Vision Coaches on the sidelines—encouraging, supporting, and cheering to ensure an inclusive and positive experience for every player.

How the Game Evolves

MiniRoos uses small-sided games with modified fields and team sizes. As girls progress through the age groups, the pitch and team size grow with them, smoothly preparing them for the full 11v11 game.

  • Matches: All Girls Only MiniRoos games are played on Sunday mornings.

  • Game Leaders: Every match is facilitated by a Game Leader who ensures the rules are followed and, most importantly, that everyone is having a great time.

Age Group Format

  • G6 – G7 Girls Intro at Local Game Hubs - Small-sided games + skills (No Goalkeeper)

  • G8 – G9 Sapphires is 7v7 - Non-competitive (Includes Goalkeeper)

  • G10 – G11 Sapphires is 9v9 - Non-competitive (Includes Goalkeeper)

Training & Team Placement

  • Commitment: Training is held one night per week after school. You can view our [Full Training Schedule HERE].

  • Play with Friends: We know football is better with besties! We typically form teams based on school groups or specific friendship requests.

  • Double the Football: Want more time on the pitch? Girls can also choose to play in Mixed Teams (Saturdays) in addition to Sundays—all under the one registration fee.
